Tuition Fees and Living Cost:
Finnish universities offer very affordable tuition and living cost and almost all universities offer some or the other type of merit, excellence, research scholarships depending on the subject area.
The tuition fee ranges between € 9000/- to € 12000/- per annum for degree programmes and even less for pathways and vocational courses.
The living cost varies with life style but for an adult student it is between € 6500 to € 7500/- per annum.

Study Permit/ Visa Process:
All genuine students are entitled and are issued visas if they have completed all admission and visa documentation, and hold an offer letter along with proof of funding. The student visas for Pakistanis are currently being handled by the Embassy of Finland in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and a prior online appointment is needed once the student has secured an unconditional offer of a place from a Finnish university. The study permit is issued for the entire duration of study, and a resident card is also issued to each student once the visa is approved.
Working and Settlement Opportunities:
All students who follow at least a 1 year or more study programme / course are allowed to work 30 hrs a week part-time. Those students who successfully complete their intended degree may explore settlement opportunities through finding jobs or starting their own business, etc., that depends on the area of their study and what they wish to do.
